Enjoy a drive with your family to East Hampton and visit our beautiful Camp Blue Bay. Learn more about our facility and summer camp programs by taking part in a self-guided tour. Summer Camp Director and volunteers will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Get Moving Journey Weekend for Junior Troops
Got energy? It's all around us! The Get Moving Journey calls on girls to use their energy to protect Earth's energy. During this weekend at Camp Blue Bay, girls will explore the many forms, uses and misuses of energy while working toward their Journey. All meals included, Troops are responsible for their own transportation.

WHO: Junior Girl Scout Troops (No training required)
DATE: May 16-18, 2014

Girl Scouts of Nassau County (GSNC) Prepare for your End of the Year Ceremonies

Inside the Resource Room

Ceremonies help Girl Scouts mark special events throughout the year, such as bridging to another level, earning a National Leadership Journey award, or getting a Girl Scout pin. Whatever its purpose, every Girl Scout ceremony enables girls to share Girl Scout history and traditions and create their own special memories.

Girl Scout Leadership Institute

WHO: 14-16 year-old Girl Scouts
DATE: October 16-19, 2014
PLACE: Salt Lake City, Utah

The application deadline for the Girl Scout Leadership Institute (GSLE) is fast approaching on May 5, 2014! This unique event will allow girls to meet and discuss issues that are personally relevant to them and the growth of the Girl Scout movement. During the GSLI, 14-16 year-old girls will experience the Girl Scouts of the USA National Convention in Salt Lake City, October 16-19, 2014.

Designer Division, Stylish Subtraction and Fashionable Fractions

Have you thought about a career in fashion or retail? In addition to a good sense of color and a flair for putting together an outfit, you also need math skills. Fashion and home furnishings designers use geometry for pattern making and print creations.

Through “hands-on” projects and outside speakers, the program is expected to touch upon market research and consumer behavior, costing, retail terminology and supply chain management concepts. Girls will create, cost and price a holiday décor item. It is expected that one afternoon will include a visit to a local mall.

WHO: Girls entering grades 7, 8 and 9

Motiv8 – 8 Ways to Rock Your World!

Join us on Saturday, May 3rd for an inspiring multimedia-based program "Motiv8: 8 Ways To ROCK Your Own World"! You’ll learn about ways to reduce stress and improve communication skills in a fun and interactive way. This program is for 5th-12th graders and their mother or other female adult.

Anti-Bullying Day

Join the Town of North Hempstead on Saturday, May 31, 2014 to stand up against bullying at North Hempstead Beach Park. Middle and High School students and parents/chaperones are welcome.

Girl Scouts of the USA - Let's Convention 2014


Let It Rain!

Join the Conservation District of Nassau at Let It Rain.

There will be educational exhibits which will include demonstrations of composting, square foot gardening, water conservation techniques and how to add rain barrels to any building. There will also be tanks of aquatic critters in salt water and a display of how local water quality testing is done in many of the harbors around Long Island.
