Welcome to the Council Camp Programs:

Here you will find a variety of programs being offered at Camp Blue Bay throughout the year, with new opportunities being added as they become available. Be sure to check back on a regular basis.

 

 

 

Work and Fun Weekend - Registration Closed

 

Interested in helping to improve and maintain our camp while enjoying the camp experience?


Weekend projects to include clearing paths, spreading wood chips and other assorted projects. Choose to come for the day or stay for the weekend. Each group will be required to volunteer for at least one morning or afternoon shift on Saturday to help keep our camp clean and beautiful. The rest of the weekend is yours to enjoy as a Troop no training required..

 

WHO: Cadette, Senior or Ambassador Troops with appropriate coverage and Individual Adult Volunteers

COST: $10 per person to cover the cost of meals and snacks

Taste of Camp - Canceled

 

Join us for an overnight “taste” of Troop camping and learn what it’s all about. Pack an overnight bag, lunch and board the bus at the Girl Scout Service Center in Garden City. Take part in a variety of camp activities including a tour of camp. Join us for a Pizza Party dinner, singing around the campfire and an “Ice Cream Social” to end the evening. No training required, Troops provide the required adult coverage.

Get Moving Journey Weekend for Junior Troops

 

Got energy? It's all around us! The Get Moving Journey calls on girls to use their energy to protect Earth's energy. While spending a weekend at Camp Blue Bay girls will explore the many forms, uses and misuses of energy while working towards earning their Journey. All meals included, Troops are responsible for their own transportation.

 

WHO: Junior Girl Scout Troops (No training required)

DATE: May 16-18, 2014

PLACE: Camp Blue Bay, East Hampton, NY

COST: $55.00 per person

Breathe Journey - Summer Mini Session for Individual Cadette Girl Scouts

 

Board the bus to spend four days and three nights in a Troop House at Camp Blue Bay enjoying everything that summer camp has to offer while working towards the Breathe Journey. Working towards your Journey you will take part in a number of hands on workshops learning to use your skills to protect the air of Planet Earth!

Spend time at Camp Blue Bay in a tent with your Brownie Troop earning the Bugs Badge. Explore the world of bugs and learn more about these little creatures that do so much. All meals included, Troops are responsible for their own transportation.

Spend the weekend at Camp Blue Bay in a tent with your Girl Scout Troop exploring your inner outdoors woman while working to earn the Trailblazing badge. This trip will give you a great introduction to outdoor adventure. All meals included, Troops are responsible for their own transportation.

Spend time at Camp Blue Bay in a tent with your troop working towards your Agent of Change Journey. Come along to create a circle of fun and friendship, understand the power of one and learn more about the power of team and explore the possibilities of reaching out to become the power of community. All meals included, Troops are responsible for their own transportation.

Adventure Fun - Summer Mini Session for Individual Cadette Girl Scouts

 

Board the bus to spend four days and three nights in a Troop House or a tent your choice at Camp Blue Bay. Spend extra time on the low ropes course focusing on team building games and activities. Get to know the girls in the group by challenging yourself and working as a team to complete each element of the course.
