Girl Scouts of Nassau County Troop Group Camping Application Process

What is GSNC's Traditional Troop/Group Camping Process?

It is simple and easy! Once you have an adult who has completed Girl Scouts of Nassau County's Outdoor Training and you also have an adult trained in Basic First Aid you are ready to go. Follow the four steps below to enjoy a great adventure in the outdoors.

Four Easy Steps

1. Plan with your girls when you would like to camp and if you would like a Tent Site or Troop House. Traditional Troop Camping takes place during the Winter, Spring and Fall seasons. Using the Troop/Group Application Processing Dates and Site Availability Charts choose a few date options to apply for.

2. Apply for a date: The Troop/Group Overnight Camp Application needs to be completed & signed by the Outdoor Trained Adult as well as signed by the Association Camp Consultant or representative before submitting. Mail completed form and $50 Non-refundable deposit to Girl Scouts of Nassau County. You will receive a confirmation packet via e-mail once placed.

3. Submit final payment at least one month prior to your camping date.

4. Enjoy your camping trip.

Please Note:

* A $50.00 non-refundable, non-transferable fee MUST accompany the application signed by an Association Camping Consultant or Representative. No applications will be accepted for processing without the proper fee and signatures.

* Applications received before the receipting dates will be returned unprocessed. This ensures that all Troops and Associations have the same opportunity.
