What Under Gardeners can expect to do at The Farm:
* Under
Gardeners will work closely with Amanda Roberts, the Farm Manager to
help you run and manage each gardening session.
* Under
Gardeners will be leading and assisting with younger troops
*
Planting, weeding, bug picking, harvesting, running special projects,
and planning events & activities are all part of the
responsibilities of an Under Gardener. All crops will be donated to a
local food bank.
* A minimum of 20 community service hours will
be earned through the duration of this program (this 20 hour of
service will make Girl Scouts eligible for the Community Service Bar
which is available for purchase at the GSNC shop)
Girls Scouts
who didn't attend an orientation session can still participate but

May-September 2024
Important: Fee includes GS Gardeners patch,
Under Gardener rocker and T-shirt, and the Mandatory Orientation
Training Meeting and all gardening sessions. You will
receive a link to select your T-shirt size once registration is
closed. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty;
closed toe shoes required at the farm. No Tag-Alongs or pets are
permitted at the farm.
